This boa is brown with brown markings. The underside is light with brown markings. The tail terminates in a point. Size of average adult length: can reach 5 feet

Active mainly at night During the day retreats to rock crevices or coils up

mates in April lays eggs clutch size: 3 - 10 incubation: 61 - 67 days
